Who are you and what's your background?
Hello and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Gabriel Germano
and I am an 18 year old fullstack web developer with a passion
for creating intuitive and engaging web applications. Although I
do not have previous industry experience, I am constantly
learning and building new projects to improve my skills.
I specialize in developing applications using modern web
development technologies such as Angular and
Spring Boot. I have experience working with databases such as
MongoDB and MySQL and I am confident in my ability to
create efficient and scalable backend systems.
Currently, I am seeking an internship opportunity to further
develop my skills and gain real-world experience in the field of
web development. I am eager to collaborate with other developers
and designers to create innovative solutions that meet the needs
of clients and users.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio. Please feel
free to explore my projects and reach out to me with any
questions or opportunities to collaborate.
What makes you different from other developers out there?
I am eager to learn and always looking forward to continuously expand my knowledge of the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
I am also a great problem solver who can communicate my ideas well, and looks to find creative solutions to complex problems in innovative ways.
What technologies do you have knowledge of?
Backend: Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, PostgreSQL,
MongoDB.
Frontend: Angular, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Sass, Bootstrap.
Tools: Git, Github, Docker, Junit, RabbitMQ.
Additional: Restful API's, AWS, Bash, Linux.
What are some dream projects you'd love to work on?
-
A Chat App that can that allows users to
communicate in real-time, and would have features such as
group chats, videos and voice call, and file sharing.
-
A Bug Tracker that allows developers to
easily track and manage bugs and issues that arise during
the development process. This would be specially interesting
since i can use it as a tool while building other projects.
-
Develop a RESTful API for a real-world problem or application. This could involve creating endpoints for user authentication, data retrieval, and database management.
-
Building a Satellite App that allow users
to get the position of satellites in real time. The app
could include features such as satellite identification,
orbit visualization, and predictions of upcoming satellite
passes.
I've always been into space and astronomy stuff, so
i'm currently figuring out ways i can include it in my
upcoming projects.
